Magic Sauce Stuffed Buns

Magic Sauce Stuffed Buns makes the perfect starter to any meal. Getting those palettes working with a colourful blend of herbs and spices which is pleasing to your body as well as your taste buds!

 

Makes 6 Buns

Prep Time: 15 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

ingredients- chicken mixture

  • 2 small chicken breast
  • +\- 50g of butter
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • Pinch of whole cumin
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • Half a tspn salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Mixed herbs
  • 1/2 tspn crushed green chilli
  • 1/2 a sweet bell pepper
  • 100g Sweetcorn
  • 1 spring onion
  • 50g grated cheese
  • Pinch of Nigella seeds
  • 3/4 bottle of Magic Sauce

Directions

  1. Wash, drain, and cut chicken breast into small cubes
  2. In a pan add your butter, chopped onions, whole cumin. Cook until soft then add your chicken & crushed garlic in.
  3. Next add your salt, black pepper, tumeric & green chilli. Cook until chicken is slightly golden brown
  4. Add in your sweetcorn & chopped bell peppers to the mix and cook for 3 mins.
  5. Lastly add a Magic Sauce of your choice & sprinkle some mixed herbs. Cook until the mixture and sauce is combined.
  6. Leave it to cool completely and sprinkle your chopped spring onion on top.

Notes

Add any Magic Sauce of your choice. Ensure the mixture is saucy!

Cheese & Nigella Seeds will be added when stuffing the buns

ingredients - for the Dough

  • 2 & 1/2 cups of plain flour
  • 1 tblspn instant yeast
  • 1 tblspn milk powder
  • 1/4 tspn salt
  • A pinch of Aromat (optional)
  • 2 tblspns sugar
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • A tblspn of milk

Directions

  1. In a bowl add 1 cup of flour, milk power, sugar, salt, Aromat (optional), yeast, warm water & milk. Mix it, cover it and put in a warm place for 15 mins.
  2. Next add the remaining flour, oil & baking powder. Knead, knead & knead some more! Cover and prove the dough till it’s doubled in size.
  3. Take a handful of dough, roll it and stuff it with a tablespoon of the cooled mixture. Top with grated cheese, close up the bun, milk wash it & garnish with nigella seeds.
  4. Space the buns apart on greaseproof paper & place in a pre-heated oven.
  5. Bake on 175 degrees (fan oven) until golden brown.

Notes

The cheese can also be placed first then the chicken on top.
